2009 OFF AND RUNNING

Howdieeeeeeee:

We are welcoming the weekend!! have been busy-- between getting the Wiehrs' bedroom refloored, meaning taking up the old carpet and removing around a gatrillion staples,

then the putting down or the laminate flooring began.

It really did turn out nice.

On Monday and Tuesday, John took out the old toilet stools and replaced them with handicap taller stools.

curtain rods installed in their motor home.

Then playing pinochle on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evening in the Club house at Rainbow End. Along with social hour every day at 4pm in the Activities Center at RE.

Then we went to Wednesday supper at 1st UMC in Livingston, then cooked out at R.L. Ranch last nite(followed by the boys beating the girls in pinochle) Then church this morning at Goodrich UMC followed by lunch at the Whistle Stop in Livingston.

We also met with a representative of Humana and it appears that Judy may be getting some relief with the cost of her Meds.,

The Traveling Cats are really enjoying the freedom of the yard here at RL Ranch. Saturday morning their kitty sitter Charlie Held, came by for a renewal visit and see where things are while we are in Branson (leaving here early!!! Tuesday morning hoping to be there for the evening meal.)

We hope that all the NOMAD project 1 workers arrived safely and that their project go smoothly...

Pray for:

All service personnel

All those involved in NOMAD projects this period

Our Country and it Leadership during this time of transition

Those involved in the training classes for Chaplains of CHRISTIAN RESORT MININSTIES, Intl. this coming Wed- Jan 24th and their safe travel to and from Branson.

Our families as they try to understand why we can't be there and see them as much as they would like.

Also those that are in Assisted living that are lonely and hoping for loved ones to stop bye.

MAY GOD BLESSINGS continue to be showered upon you all

and each one get OUR special HUGS

The Longs-John and Judy

Is a gatrillion more than a bazillion?
Nice pic of the john, John.
