WEEK 7- COFFEYVILLE, KS.

Good Evening from the Endeavor:
This week has finally slowed down, for various reasons, but the main one is that Judy was released from the Jane Phillips Medical Center late on Tuesday afternoon. THANK YOU JESUS!! While in Bartlesville, we went to Wal-Mart supercenter to secure the new Medications the Doctors, sent home for her. We also gathered up a few of the essentials that needed to be restocked.
Took Litl Red and topped off her tank, since gasoline is around $.40 a gallon cheaper than in Coffeyville.

Wednesday the intake case worker for home health care came out and set Judy up for visits from an Occupational Therapists, a Physical Therapists, and a home health nurse to monitor her vitals. Each of them are probably coming out 2 days a week. Judy has an appointment on Nov.30Th with Dr. Kirkpatrick, in Bartlesville. If it goes has well as anticipated the trip to Oklahoma City shouldn't be needed. THANK YOU JESUS!!

My week was mainly doing things in the Endeavor, and outside sorted of getting it ready for colder weather. I also made sure that the Workampers had their mail and paychecks on Mon,Wed, Thurs, 2p.m.-6p.m. and then on Friday from 9a.m.-6 p.m.

I worked on my lesson for Sunday Morning; Philippians 4:2-9

Sunday Service was rather slim; 9 (probably because a lot of the workampers are on OT up to 55-60 hrs a week (and these folks are retired Seniors). Also the lower attendance may have been affective by the continuing rain from late Saturday and through Sunday morning. At least it wasn't SNOW Also workers are starting to leave for various reasons, burnout; to hard for them, especially with the mandatory OT; some for health issues; some for better winter assignments;and some to escape the colder weather threat.

This week John's cousin Grace Long Harris lost her husband Daniel, to cancer. Our good friend from Vining, Ia., Cheryl Cibula, lost her brother. We are praying for these families and their lost one.

Our jell-o schedule has already taken a jiggle, we are NOT heading to Galveston, TX. for the revolving team project, in January. Thinking that Judy would still need more recuperating time. So we are headed on out to Sunscape RV Resort in Casa Grande, Az. during January where we will team up with Don and La Von Baker,
and take in more pointers on the chaplaincy. We will be there from around the 4th of Jan til the 3rd of Feb. Then resume our stated jell-0 schedule. With the slight change of returning to Sunscape as often as possible, to assist the Bakers'

This week Express Pro is expecting another 35 -70 Workampers arriving to start next Sunday. So we will be greeting those that arrive here in Coffeyville.

Again we are truly blessed with great friends and family, to which we are thankful to God for them. We also would like to thank all of those that have been praying for us (ESPECIALLY DURING JUDY'S HOSPITAL STAYS) We want to say thanks to those who have been so gracious with their calls of concern and encouragement, emails and notes along with special mentions in their respected social network medias.

We really thank God for those that have chosen to be a special part of our ministries by becoming financially involved, as with out this participation we could NOT be as effective out here on the road ministering to the RV community or taking part in NOMAD projects.

I promise to try to get some new pictures incorporated into the next blog, so that you all can get a feel for our work here in Coffeyville. UNTIL Then

May GOD Blessings be upon you all
and take this really HUGE HUG from THE LONGS- ON THE ROAD FOR CHRIST:JUDY AND JOHN
