"BLUEGRASSafied"

Good evening everyone:
We finished our 1st week here at the HINTON RURAL CENTER near Hayesville, N.C.
where Judy has been doing a variety of work (which she highly enjoys); such as door hanging, insulating, painting, and trash patrol.

John has been using his electrical background to get the electrical trim (the switches, plug in sockets, cable connections, smoke detectors, and Telephone lines) closed in and face plates installed.

This work is part of HINTON's WESLEY MEADOWS PROJECT ( a mutual self-help housing community) where they are building 7 houses at the present time. Each house is set on at least a 1 acre lot. The families that get these houses have to put in at least 20 hrs a week on each other houses until all houses are completed. They receive payments according to their availability to pay.

John had met Steve Sloan (a musical adventurer) at the RV dealership and Steve helped get the hitch portion fixed and working properly (THANK YOU STEVE) He also sent me to a local machine shop (happens to be a local stock car racer, so he should know what he is doing. LOL ). Steve also told about the Bluegrass performance at the Campbell Folk Art School featuring the DISMEMBERED TENNESSEANS ( 6 members in the group) they were good but they only performed for an hour which was way to short for us.

While we were in Ga. (where the RV repair shop is) Judy found a resale shop where we got some used clothes to wear so we don't ruin our good clothes.

please continue praying for us that the 5er repairs go well, that our health remain manageable, and that the work here at HINTON goes as planned without too many obstacles.

GODS BLESSINGS ON ALL till next time 'the longs-on the road'

Glad to hear you found your purse, and the fifth wheel is fixed! I was on sight to see where you are at, and it looks just beautiful where you are at work. Sounds like your days are good, and productive. As my son would say, every day is a good day!

God bless you for the service that you are providing. And God bless the people that you listen to as they share their musical talents the Lord has given them. Listening to gospel, can fill the soul, so we are fueled and ready to serve!
Have a wonderful week, and wish those valleys weren't so deep. We can't ever finish our conversation.
Love to you!
