CHISELED IN JELL-O WINTER '09-'10 PLANS

Greetings from the Endeavor:
1st of all we heard today that we should be on the road to Coffeyville, by Wednesday Morning, after our refrigerator is returned to us in working order.

2ND :We (Judy and John or better known as THE LONGS ON THE ROAD FOR CHRIST) want to thank everyone for their continued prayer support, moral support by calls and notes, and the monetary support. Without each of those we would be unable to serve as effectively as we do each day out here.

Our days at Adventureland has ended and on Wednesday Sept.15TH, we will begin our Ministry in Coffeyville, Ks. serving as Christian Resort Ministries Chaplains to the 400 Workampers at Amazon.com. We will be here until Dec. 23rd., presenting the Gospel Message each Sunday morning, assisting those with problems as we can daily, and most of all LOVING THEM for CHRIST through us each day.

Our plans after Coffeyville has been chiseled in Jell-o: Here is what it looks like at this time:
Dec.24Th -Jan.4Th we will be on Holiday vacation in Livingston,TX.

Jan, 3-22 doing a NOMAD Revolving team project in Galveston,TX.
working with the victims of Hurricane Ike,

Feb.22-Mar.11will find us in Phoenix,AZ. on a NOMAD project at UMOM, UM Outreach Ministries, doing general maintenance, electrical, plumbing, landscaping, painting, planting little gardens (watch Judy go for this),clerical, child care, thrift shop.. so this should be a fun 3 weeks.

April 5-22 Our next scheduled NOMAD project is a return visit to Gore, OK and the Oklahoma United Methodist Boys Ranch where we are to remodel a room in one of the cottages.

May 2ND should find us attending worship service with those at CHRIST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, BELLE PLAINE, IA as we are on our way to Altoona and another season of serving those at Adventureland as overnight security officer in the campground and as CHRISTIAN RESORT MINISTRIES CHAPLAINS working with Senior Chaplains Jack and Karen Gregory.

Please remember to pray with us for the following:

1) NOMADS as they travel to Indiana for their annual reunion

2) AMAZON.COM WORKAMPERS as they travel there and as they are working the long 10 hour days and lost souls who may be among them, that Gods Love may reach them,

3) Judys' continued good health days which are bearable for her.

4) Joan (from the HR office at A-land) as she continues with Chemo and now the blood-clots just found.

5)Us as we get ready to leave and while we travel on Wednesday.

6) Our co- Christian Resort Ministries Chaplains as they prepare and travel to their various Snowbirds assignment in Texas and Arizona. and that souls may be touched by them.

7) Our Country and Our leaders that may Gods hand be on them as they
as they make decision that effect us all.

8) Our Servicemen both overseas and at home that safety be with them.

9) Our Police and Fire Department as they battle each day with their respected obstacles.

10) Judys Uncle Paul( an mid 80's man of God) who is recovering from a severely broken sholder.

11) Judys Aunt Lorreta who is in assisted living and recently lost her oldest son.

12) Pray for your local Ministry team, that God may speak through them each week.

Again all of this WOULD NOT be possible WITH-OUT all the love and support that you all give to our Ministries and lives.

Thank you all very much and may God continue to Bless and Guide each one of you

and Heart felt Hugs from: The Longs- On the Road for Christ: John and Judy Long
