Greetings from Misty Mt.:
We are still in Virginia's lovely mountains enjoying our stay----We are tentatively scheduled to stay through the last Wednesday of October, then on too Selma, Ala.
Where we once again have a 3 week NOMADS assignment at an United Methodist Children Home. We will then have the week of Thanksgiving off, then go to Moss Point, Mississippi;where Judy and I will become part of another NOMADS TEAM, for 3 more weeks, working on reconstruction of Hurricane Katrina victims homes ourselves.
We have no set plans at this time for after the 15th of Dec. leaving that open for GODS guidance's, but probably head for somewhere very very very WARM AND COMFORTABLE.
We are looking at future NOMADS ASSIGNMENTS and other possible WORKAMPER positions for spring and summer 08, maybe even somewhere close to IOWA, so we can enjoy visiting with family and friends.
This past week-end (8/12/07) we went up to the Visitor Center at HUMPBACK MOUNTAIN along the BLUERIDGE PARKWAY, to listen to some bluegrass music, the group performing was Pam Ward and the Grassy Ridge Band from West Virginia.. They are awesome and Pam's voice is like hearing an Angel singing.
Last Friday we found and ALDI'S about an hour away at Culpeper, VA so we replendished our staples and some of our favorite foods.
WE HOPE THAT THIS FINDS ALL OF OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY HAVING A GREAT SUMMER AND RECEIVING SOME OF GODS' BLESSINGS LIKE WE ARE.
